Susan Villanueva de Guzman
Susan Villanueva-de Guzman is a design educator, artist, and lifelong learner with 30+ years of experience. As a lecturer at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the UAE, she fosters creativity and innovation through education, art, and course development.
She holds a BFA in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas, an M.Ed. in Online & Distance Learning from the University of Southern Queensland, and is completing her PhD in Educational Management at PUP, Philippines.
Her teaching career began in 1985 at PUP, and in 1996, she joined HCT, later becoming a lecturer specialising in graphic design, packaging, and editorial design. She has mentored students in GCCSkills, WorldSkills Asia, and WorldSkills International.
Recognised as Artist of the Year by The Filipino Times, her work was showcased at EXPO 2020 Dubai. Passionate about bridging cultures and empowering artists, she continues to inspire the next generation of creatives.
